OUR GOALS
• Support early childhood independence by using the reassuring and structuring presence of a parent or familiar adult
• Prepare young children for trouble-free future attendance at day care or school by allowing them to meet other children – essential for developing social skills
• Prevent the appearance of emotional problems or attentional issues – such as certain forms of hyperactivity – by listening specifically to what children and their parents actually say
• Bring families out of isolation by allowing them to share their experiences

PROJECT BEGINNINGS
La Maison buissonnière is inspired by the conclusive experiences of La Maison Verte that was opened in Paris by psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto in 1979. Dolto continually highlighted the importance of prevention during the perinatal period to prevent obvious misunderstandings between children and parents from turning into symptoms.
Françoise Dolto also drew attention to the need to prepare young children for social life and to make sure that future attendance at day care and school be trouble-free.
Nous faisons de notre mieux pour la suivre dans cette voie.
